Alway Something Sings - Cantemus Women’s Choir

The concert’s title draws inspiration from Ralph Waldo Emerson’s poem Music, which reminds us that even “in the darkest meanest things, there alway, alway something sings.” Just as Emerson found music in both beauty and hardship, Cantemus embraces the transformative power of song to bring light even in life’s darkest moments. The program will feature a repertoire spanning multiple musical styles, with compositions by Gabriel Faure, Leonora d’Este, Joni Jensen, Don Macdonald, Craig Courtney, Jocelyn Hagen, and Sarah Quartel, among others.
