Alexander Murray Hiking Trail
35 Main Street, King's Point, Canada
In the fall of 1960 the small town of Benediction is about to welcome a new visitor. Young Daniel Collins has made his way by boat, train and foot from bustling Toronto to the shores of Notre Dame Bay. Freshly graduated from the Ontario College of Art and Design, he’s brought his pens and papers, paint and brushes to capture landscapes on the edge of the Atlantic. He’ll be boarding with an estranged married couple, Rosemary and Loyola Eveleigh, and the longer he stays the closer gets to the secret keeping them apart and simultaneously keeping them together. And as an autumn storm draws nearer and nearer, the close quarters of their saltbox house entwine the three in a fog of tension, threatening to erupt.
Benediction is the Mainstage Production of the 2025 Green Bay Theatre Festival, presented by The King's Point Theatre Project.
In the spirit of last years production of Turncoat Hill, this play is full of drama, suspense, laughter and tears. It plays at The Alexander Murray Alcove Theatre in beautiful King's Point. Opening on August 7, the show runs nightly at 7:30pm, with a special 2pm matinee on August 9.
If purchasing on Eventbrite mobile for our Saturday, August 9 performances, be sure to scroll the calendar down to see both the 2pm and 7:30 options.
