The Blue Hour: Cabaret Secrets from Weimar Germany

Step into the smoky clubs of 1930s Berlin as The Blue Hour reimagines the daring, subversive spirit of Weimar cabaret. This spellbinding show blends Kurt Weill and Bertolt Brecht’s revolutionary music with decadent masterpieces of the era, including Surabaya Johnny and Falling in Love Again, arranged by award-winning composer Tim Sutton.

Featuring soprano Sarah Gabriel, alongside Sarah Field (trumpet, saxophone), Beth Higham-Edwards (percussion), and Tim Sutton (piano), The Blue Hour brings the political and artistic fervour of the era vividly to life.
