First play of the 355's and the 8:56 Collaboration
“Sometimes” — A really personal message on Men’s Mental Health journey
This collaboration aims to shine a light on the emotional struggles men face and the importance of talking openly about mental health.
The song’s message is clear: it’s okay not to be okay, and speaking out can be a vital step toward healing.
"Sometimes I don’t want to talk at all
It’s harder than I ever thought it was
But I’m getting better at it
Better late than never"
Adam from the @the355s said “This project is about showing men that they’re not alone, and that reaching out can make all the difference. Music has the power to connect and heal, and we hope ‘Sometimes’ inspires men everywhere to start those conversations.”
"The key themes of “Sometimes” highlight the importance of vulnerability, resilience, and support. Bert’s lyrics reflect real experiences and emotions, echoing the message that getting men to talk about their mental health is key to breaking down stigma and saving lives"
"Sometimes" will be released on Friday 11th July when the 355's take to the stage at @festivaltoo who have also been keen supporters of the Foundation in raising awareness and support for men's mental health
We'd ask everyone to start conversations, because everyone’s mental health journey matters.
