Here & Now Yoga's new “Yoga for Beginners - building a foundation” short course has been created for those who are beginner level or new to yoga & would like to learn the foundational, basic practices of hatha yoga.
During the 6-week course we will learn & practice together foundational
- yoga poses (asana) and their benefits,
- breathing exercises (pranayama),
- basic relaxation (yoga nidra techniques), and
- an introduction to meditation
These 70 minute sessions will include approx. 55 minutes of asana practice & 15 minutes of breathing & relaxation.

Each session will be taught by offering options & variations relative to your experience & health so that you can enjoy your practice safely and comfortably. The only requirement is that you are able to get up and down from the floor unaided, as some of the practice will be down on our mats.
