How I Became A Pirate

Kingman Center for the Arts and Beale Street Youth Theater are excited to announce this year’s student directed production led by Education Director Sidney Valdez: How I Became A Pirate.
Braid Beard and his mates enlist young Jeremy Jacob, as they try to find the perfect spot to bury their treasure. Jeremy finds that adventuring can be lots of fun, but also learns that love and home are treasures you can't find on any map! The whole family will love this delightful and swashbuckling musical adventure!

There are six performances scheduled for the following times at Lee Williams High School (400 Grandview Ave, Kingman, AZ): Friday, 6th June 2025 at 7pm Saturday, 7th June 2025 at 1pm and 7pm Friday, 13th June 2025 at 7pm Saturday, 14th June 2025 at 1pm and 7pm. Cast Braid Beard student directed by Owen Everhart performs weekend one, and Cast Scurvy Dog student directed by Joseph Orozco performs weekend two. We hope to see the whole community turn out to enjoy this fantastical production for kids by kids!
