Tree of Life Ceremony in King William ~ Sunday, December 14

Grand Illumination and Tree of Life Ceremony to be held on Sunday, December 14 at 6:00 pm.

King William Training School (across the street from Hamilton Holmes Middle School) in King William is one of the original Rosenwald Schools with a lot of historical context.

The property is owned by the Pamunkey Baptist Association. Reverend Joshua Lewis from Jerusalem Christian Church, who is a Chamber member, will lead the ceremony. Tree of Life names will be read while the lights are tinkling to inspire us to remember those special in our community.

Each name submitted by community members honors or remembers someone who holds a special place in your heart, whether it is a cherished family member, long time friend, significant group, or those who we wish to never forget.

All funds raised from the event directly benefit the King William VA250 celebration in 2026.
