Public Hearing for Route 301 at Port Conway Rd. Intersection Improvement Project in King George

This proposed project seeks to enhance safety and reduce the risk of crashes at the intersection of Route 301 (James Madison Parkway), Route 607 (Port Conway Road) and Route 625 (Salem Church Road) in King George County.

The intersection would be rebuilt to have a restricted crossing U-turn (RCUT) traffic pattern. This pattern has fewer locations where vehicle paths could overlap and collide, resulting in a crash.
