Volunteer Call Out 002 KinDOG Park

Hi Everyone,
This should be the last clean up morning for a while.
Things we have to do:
We have some paving stones to install under a couple of park benches. They are at the front gate, thanks Bob for providing them. So we need to bring them into the park, level and set the bench back on them. This will be an experiment, so it won’t go straightforward! There are no five minutes jobs!
The brush cutting is just about finished and we need to drag it to the big pile. If we get that done, I will contact Bennett and try to arrange for Public Works to chip it up soon.
Poop pickup would be nice to do, if we get the brush piled away.
We need ideas to get rid of the thatch on the fences, now they have been cut back.
We need to look at making birdhouses, and form a small team to tackle that.
I will talk to Bennett this week and see how things are coming with regards to the two fire hydrants.
The park is really coming together and I hope to have us into maintenance mode around the second week in July.
