Join us for Yin, Pin & Restore—a calming and introspective 90-minute workshop blending yin yoga, restorative postures, and acupuncture, all rooted in the wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and the rhythms of the autumn season.
In TCM, autumn is the season of the Metal element, which governs the Lungs and Large Intestine—organs responsible for breath, boundaries, grief, and letting go. Just as the trees release their leaves, this season invites us to reflect, release, and refine. When the Metal element is balanced, we experience clarity, structure, healthy boundaries, and emotional resilience. When imbalanced, we may feel sadness, stagnation, dryness, or disconnection.
Through this workshop, you’ll be gently guided into the process of releasing what no longer serves, supported by the power of breath, mindful movement, and stillness.
What to Expect:
- 45 minutes of Yin Yoga to open the Lung and Large Intestine meridian lines and encourage inner reflection
- 45 minutes of Restorative Yoga + Acupuncture for deep relaxation and energetic support
- Acupuncture will be applied to points on the hands, wrists, and arms to support the Metal element and facilitate emotional release
This workshop is designed to create a space where you can ground, exhale, and reconnect. You’ll be invited to rest in poses that promote deep calm while receiving acupuncture that gently supports the body’s natural ability to shed grief, stagnation, and old emotional residue.
No experience with yoga or acupuncture is needed. Please wear comfortable clothing with sleeves that can easily roll up to the elbows. All props will be provided.
Come as you are. Leave feeling lighter.
