Our hope is to create safe, inclusive spaces for people to explore and celebrate the powerful and hidden magic of weeds – from the practical to the spiritual. A space for knowledge sharing and re-enchanting our connection with nature. We work from a political framework rooted in equality, inclusivity and anti-capitalism and believe that even the smallest acts of reconnection with nature can be acts of rebellion against systems that are designed to weaken our intelligence, integrity and spirit. Our work is very much focused on Scottish plants and folklore. Our hope is that you will have a nourishing, enriching and mindful experience on our workshops. 💚
We will:
🌱 learn to identify two weeds growing around us.
🌱learn about the habitat we might find them in
🌱taste, craft, and get to know the plants
🌱discover how our ancestors might have viewed and used the plants
🌱consider symbolism and spiritual connections with our plants
Payment in advance required to reserve your place, cash preferred. We have two concessionary spaces for anyone experiencing financial hardship.
