The background to this charity run...
Last year at this time John Foster, one of our good friends, major supporter of our shop and monthly shop runs, asked us if we could do our annual charity run for Beatson Cancer Charity as he had been receiving care for a number of years from the Beatson and wanted to give something back. However, as we had already been planning the one for Calumโs Cabin behind the scenes for a number of weeks we had to tell John that unfortunately it wasnt possible for 2024 but we would definitely do it for the next one in 2025.
Sadly, as many of you are aware, John passed away earlier this year. Keeping our promise to John - this years charity bike run is therefore for Beatson Cancer Charity and being done in memory of John.
Run details:
Start point - MCS Motorcycles (KA3 6JT)
โ 10am meeting for a 11am departure
Stop at Esso A82, Dumbarton G82 2AR (Lomondgate)
- to meet additional riders/regroup
Finish Point - The Green Welly, Tyndrum FK20 8RY
