New Teachers Showcase

All newly hired teachers in KISD will be attending a special orientation and training event, and we have a fantastic opportunity to welcome them to our community! During their lunch, as well as their morning and afternoon breaks, you’ll have the chance to connect with these educators and give them a warm introduction to everything that makes Killeen and the surrounding areas such a great place to live, work, and thrive.

Local businesses are invited to participate by setting up a booth, allowing you to showcase your products, services, and community spirit directly to the newest members of the KISD family. With the district planning to hire approximately 400 to 500 new teachers for the 2025–2026 school year, this event offers exceptional visibility and a meaningful way to make a lasting first impression.

Event planning is still underway, but we’re thrilled to extend this invitation to our business community.
