It Takes a Village – Supporting One of Our Own

In every community, there are those rare individuals who dedicate their lives to lifting others up—who shape the minds and hearts of the next generation with patience, kindness, and unwavering commitment. Today, we rally for one of those extraordinary individuals: Regina Beard, who has been diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS).

ALS may be a difficult diagnosis, but no one walks this path alone. And that’s where we come in. Because as the saying goes, "It takes a village." It takes a village to educate a child—and now, it takes that same village to give back to someone who has given so much.

We are coming together to raise the resources and support Regina and her family needs as they navigate this journey—with medical care, accessible equipment, and, most importantly, the comfort of knowing they are surrounded by love and community.

Whether you were taught by Regina Beard, worked alongside her, or simply believe in the power of educators, we invite you to join us. Every donation, every word of encouragement, every act of solidarity matters.

Let’s show Regina that just as she has never given up on her students, teachers, we will never give up on her.
