Celebrate the arrival of Spring in a morning of peaceful connection, and transformative healing practice experienced in the beautiful woods and meadows of Colby Gardens.
In this Equinox gathering, let nature’s gentle wisdom become part of you, as you tune into your own sense of balance within, and connect with the vibrancy and new life that Springtime brings.
What we will be doing
Tapping into the restorative properties of the trees and plants, we will be immersing ourselves fully into the energies of the changing seasons.
Throughout the morning, we will be synchronising ourselves with nature to help create healthy energy flow and shift the old to allow space for the new to manifest.
Through gentle meditation in the company of ancient trees, we will ground and release anything we wish to let go of back into the Earth, drawing in new fresh energy to revitalise and uplift us.
Tuning into our own natural rhythms, we will walk through the landscape, taking in the trees and plants beginning to blossom and flourish, learning about the healing properties, folklore and natural medicine associated with them, and how we might wish to connect with them through various well-being practices.
We will be connecting with the solar energies of the Oak, and the gentle femininity of the Beech tree.
Sitting peacefully with Spring flowers, we will learn how to make a flower essence that can help calm, relax, and balance our emotions.
We will learn why dandelions, nettles, and cleavers are some of the best plants to cleanse and detox the body as we emerge from the quieter Winter months.
To help bring positive changes for the months ahead, we will be cleansing out any stagnation within the body, balancing our chakras, and tapping into the power of manifestation and visualisation.
