Aloha, Maui. A message from the heart of our community. Our dear friend Vene Chun, a pillar of the Maui community and devoted father, is facing a serious health challenge after a spinal injury led to a devastating cancer diagnosis.
We ask you to kōkua and join us for the "Waves of Aloha" community fundraiser on Saturday, September 6th, at Sugar Beach Events in Kihei.
The event is split into two sessions:
Awakea (Afternoon): From 12 to 4 p.m. enjoy live music, lawn games, mini photo sessions, a lei poʻo bar, and a silent auction.
ʻĀluna Ahiahi (Evening): From 5 to 8 p.m. the fun continues with more live music, lawn games, hula performances, silent auction, and more.
Your suggested entry donation of $25 to $40 goes directly to Vene and his ʻohana.
Please bring cash for food and drink purchases, as well as beach chairs for comfortable seating. We also encourage carpooling, as parking is limited. Let’s come together and share the aloha.
