UNWANTED WITNESS MOOT COURT COMPETITION HOSTED BY KIGALI INDEPENDENT UNIVERSITY
Kigali Attorneys Legal Consultants and Partners is thrilled to announce a new partnership with Unwanted Witness to host the national rounds of the 4th Edition of the Unwanted Witness Privacy Moot Court Competition 2025 this year, the competition expands beyond Uganda and Kenya to include Tanzania and Rwanda, making it a fully regional East African competition Rwanda inaugural national rounds will take place Thursday 18th September, 2025 at Kigali Independent University Kigali campus
This collaboration underscores our shared commitment to fostering legal scholarship and innovation in privacy and data protection law and policy, and community engagement across the East African region.
As co-hosts, of Rwanda national rounds Kigali Attorneys and Unwanted Witness will curate a dynamic program featuring thought-provoking and interactive moot sessions, and networking opportunities designed to equip students and legal professionals, business leaders, and policymakers with actionable insights. The event will spotlight emerging trends data protection and privacy law and practice in Rwanda and across the East African region, and provide an academic forum for meaningful dialogue on the challenges and opportunities shaping our industry.
