Wednesday English With Charlie: Jaws and the Perception of Sharks

Following the screening of Jaws, we invite you to join a discussion about sharks. Feared across the world as maneaters, due in no small part to the legacy of films like Jaws, sharks are killed en masse each year by humans, dwarfing the number of attacks by sharks on humans. Join us on August 6th at 19:00 to discuss the misunderstood shark, and how films and media shape our perception of the world around us.
