Minibus seats are limited to 10, so please let me know as soon as possible to reserve your spot.
Important Note: While we welcome dogs, we observed that many walkers had their dogs off-leash during this walk. To prevent any unwanted interactions with loose dogs, we recommend that your four-legged friends stay at home this time.
If you can make your own way, you are most welcome to join us, and we will meet at the car park.
Convenience: There is a café and restrooms located very close to the start of this walk.

Biddulph Grange Country Park
Overview
Nestled in the delightful town of Biddulph, Staffordshire, Biddulph Grange Country Park is a hidden gem.
The park is located adjacent to the magnificent Biddulph Grange Manor.
This idyllic park boasts well-maintained woodland paths, a captivating cave, serene lakes, and picturesque meadows. Keep an eye out for glimpses of the stunning Biddulph Grange.
Additionally, the park features a visitor center and café, along with picnic areas, ensuring you have all the amenities for a relaxing outing. Come and immerse yourself in nature at its finest at Biddulph Grange Country Park!

Route Details:
Terrain: woodland
Pathway: Primarily a woodland path with some muddy areas and woodland trail and some trails lead to styles to climb over, steps and exposed tree roots, with some steep inclines.
Footwear: Given the potential for muddy sections in wet weather, sturdy walking shoes are recommended.

This walk is open to all but please be mindful of the type of terrain and your own abilities.

NB: We will be using the CAFAG minibus for this trip and places are limited to 10, however you are welcome to make your own way there.
It is just a short drive from the CAFAG to our destination with plenty of free parking.

TIME: 2 hours Approx. (please allow plenty of time for travel and the walk)

The walking club is free to attend but donations are welcome and will go towards planning future walks where we can use the minibus and offer light refreshments such as tea / coffee and biscuits.
