SEN-Friendly Spooktacular at Park Gate Inn

The Nigel Prosser Foundation, in partnership with Neurodiversity League, is thrilled to invite families to our SEN-friendly Spooktacular, an evening of Halloween fun designed especially for children with special educational needs and their families. This event promises a safe, welcoming, and inclusive space where everyone can enjoy the spooky season together.
What to Expect:
Free Entry for All Families
We want everyone to be able to join in the fun, so there’s no cost to attend.
Picnic-Style Buffet
Bring the whole family to enjoy a relaxed, shared meal together in a friendly atmosphere.
Outdoor Cinema
Thanks to Aluna Igloo Events, we’ll be screening the family favourite Hotel Transylvania under the stars, a perfect Halloween treat for little monsters of all ages.
Special Appearances
Get ready for a visit from Wednesday Addams and a surprise guest, brought to you by Doorstep Princesses, adding an extra touch of magic to the evening.
Halloween-Themed Games and Stalls
From spooky crafts to fun games, there will be plenty to keep children entertained throughout the evening.
This event has been thoughtfully designed with SEN families in mind. From the atmosphere to the activities, every element is aimed at being accessible, inclusive, and relaxed, so that children and their families can feel comfortable joining in the Halloween festivities.
We encourage families to come dressed in costumes, but not essential or required! Heads up to bring blankets for the cinema, and most importantly, come ready to have fun in a safe and supportive environment.
