About the event

150Hr Yoga Teacher Training (Bridging Course)
This 150-Hour Yoga Bridging Course is designed for yoga teachers looking to deepen their knowledge and practice. The course blends traditional yogic wisdom with modern therapeutic applications and includes:
Five in-person Sunday sessions
an online component
and a six-night retreat.

Prerequisite

Participants must have completed a 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training prior to enrolling in this course.

Course Structure & Topics

Throughout the course, we’ll dive into a range of topics designed to expand your knowledge and refine your practice.

We will explore the wisdom of the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali and learn how to apply its timeless teachings to modern yoga practice. Group discussions and reflections will encourage deeper understanding and integration of these philosophical concepts.

The course includes an in-depth study of Advanced Pranayama, Bhanda, and Mudra, where we will deepen breathwork practices, understand and use energy locks (Bandhas), and explore the role of hand gestures (Mudras) in energetic flow.

Our study of Chakras and the Energy System of the Body will help participants understand the seven chakras and their significance. We will learn techniques to balance and activate these energy centers through meditation and visualization practices.

In Managing Injury and Props, we will focus on safe movement modifications for injuries, using props to enhance accessibility and support, and teaching strategies for diverse student needs.

The Business of Yoga & Anatomy component will cover ethical practices and professional growth, marketing strategies for yoga teachers, and a deeper understanding of applied anatomy in yoga practice.

Retreat Experience

The six-night retreat provides a fully immersive environment to deepen your personal practice and teaching skills, with a special focus on mental health and emotional well-being. Sessions will incorporate yoga techniques for managing anxiety and depression, integrating breathwork, movement, and meditation to support resilience. Expect daily asana practice, hands-on workshops, and group discussions in a serene, supportive setting.

Key areas of focus include:

Practice Flow & Yoga Therapy – Exploring therapeutic yoga sequences with a focus on mental health, anxiety, and depression

Ayurveda & Yogic Lifestyle – Practical ways to integrate Ayurvedic principles

Meditation & Self-Reflection – Techniques for mindfulness and personal transformation

Course Completion & Certification

Upon successful completion of all components, participants will receive a 150-Hour Yoga Bridging Course Certificate.
