Introduction to Woolwork Class!

Come learn the basics of working with wool! We'll make a poster that represents some of the major types of fleece, scour fleeces to remove dirt and excess lanolin, practice methods of preparing fiber for spinning, and play around with drop spindles to spin wool into yarn (for more extensive training on spinning, look for a separate class!).

You'll also have the opportunity to meet and greet our very friendly animals, including pygora goats, Jacob sheep, chickens, and livestock guardian dogs.
