This holiday season, don’t just deck the halls, help restore the forest! 🎄🌲
Join us for NFLT’s Second Annual Sand Pine Harvest on Sunday, December 7 at Little Rain Lake Preserve. Harvesting your own Christmas tree is a fun, festive way to get into the holiday spirit and support restoration of the longleaf pine ecosystem at the same time!
Sand pines are native to Florida, but they grow fast and crowd out longleaf pines, which need open space and sunlight to thrive. By removing sand pines, you’re giving longleafs a fighting chance and taking home a beautifully scented Christmas tree with sturdy branches perfect for ornaments. 🎁✨
Help NFLT restore habitat AND get your Christmas tree at the same time!
