Create something heartfelt and functional in this Clay Wall Pocket Workshop, inspired by sweet, hand-crafted envelope designs like the one shown. Guests will sculpt two envelope-shaped wall pockets from raw clay, adding texture, details, and personal touches such as stamped patterns or simple embellishments.
These charming pieces are perfect for love notes, handwritten messages, dried florals, air plants, or small keepsakes, making them both decorative and meaningful. Our instructor will guide you through shaping, refining, and preparing your pieces for firing. After the workshop, your wall pockets will be kiln-fired and ready for pickup at a later date.
No clay experience is needed—just bring your creativity and enjoy a relaxed, hands-on art experience with something truly special to take home. In this workshop, each person will make TWO wall pockets.
When creating your pieces, you have the option to paint them as wet clay during the session OR you may return to paint your pieces after the first kiln firing at a studio fee of $17 per person.
Painting on raw clay will leave a more textured, organic finish, whereas painting after the first firing will result in a smoother, more polished surface.
