Fundraiser- "Jaws Bridge," Paddle, Pints and Fish Tales

Come join PFH for a legendary local attraction – The Shark Bridge in Matawan Creek. We launch from the Keyport public marina around 1:30 pm and paddle west from the Raritan Bay into the creek coming arriving to the tubes at 3:00 pm- just in time for slack tide.

Pass throught the tunnel and have your best “Jaws” picture taken as you rip thorugh the mouth of this local legend. And yes, you will get your picture.

After the trip we move a few blocks up the street to McDonaghs Pub for an a pint and a few fish tales and local legends.

The trip includes:

• On-water drinks and snacks
• $20 food vaucher to McDonagh’s Pub and Restaurant for an after-trip pint, fish-n-chips, or burger
• ACA Trip insurance
• ACA L2 Guide and Spotter

Cost Breakdown:

• Restaurant Food Vaucher - $20 – (Day of use only)
• Trip / Event Insurance - $15
• ACA Guide & Sponsor – Included
• Donation -$25
• Total Cost is $60 per paddler

We prefer that your bring your own kayak (BYOK) - 12 feet or longer - No class limit.

Four Rentals are available upong request for and additional $25 the day of the event.

As with all PFH trips, this event aims to raise funds to offset the cost with expendables – cups, plates, napkins and coffee supplies for organizations serving the food insecure in southern coastal Monmouth County, NJ.
