After an incredible first year we’re thrilled to announce that the Spanish Fly Shark Tournament has reached an exciting milestone—it will be televised by Outdoor America! This exclusive filming opportunity will air on FAST TV and broadcast channels bringing the adrenaline-fueled competition to a nationwide audience.

This catch-and-release tournament honors Jose Wejebe’s legacy while supporting marine conservation. Partnering with leading organizations we collect vital data on bull shark populations in the Florida Keys helping preserve our oceans for future generations.

To keep the excitement high we offer two divisions—Offshore and Inshore—giving anglers a chance to compete in their preferred waters. Plus with two Calcuttas the stakes are even higher for those looking to test their skills and up the competition!

Winners will take home stunning custom trophies by renowned marine artist David Wirth along with amazing swag and prizes. Plus we’re honored to welcome guest speakers from Bimini Shark Lab who will share their expertise on shark conservation and research.
