Adult Book Club - The Book of Hope: A Survival Guide for Trying Times by Jane Goodall

The Adult Book Club will cover The Book of Hope: A Survival Guide for Trying Times by Dr. Jane Goodall and author Douglas Abrams. In this book they explore the meaning of hope and provide a roadmap for action in a challenging world. Structured around Goodall's four reasons for hope—the human intellect, nature's resilience, young people's activism, and the indomitable human spirit—the book combines stories from Goodall's remarkable life with evidence of positive change and calls readers to cultivate hope through action in their own communities to address issues like climate change and environmental destruction.
