Wildflower Seeding at Wicksteed Park

World Bee Day is on the 20th of May and we want you to be involved with Wicksteed Park's effort to create the perfect habitat for bees and other invertebrates to thrive.

Bees play an important part in our ecosystems and with your help our rangers team will be sowing a wildflower meadow on our amphitheatre mound.

Join our ranger team on Sunday the 18th between 10am and 2pm where you can help create your own little patch of wildflower meadow.

We will provide a spade and the wildflower seed required. All you need to do is turn over a small area of grass and sow the seeds, what3 word your patch and watch it bloom!

Please note this is an outdoor event and appropriate clothing for the weather is required. The meeting point is at the amphitheatre mound. Visit reception for directions if you need any help finding the location.
