Uptown Improv Workshop

The Centerville Arts Commission and City of Centerville are pleased to present a one-of-a-kind theatrical experience this Valentine’s weekend with Uptown Improv featuring TBD: The Improvised Musical! on Saturday, February 14 at 7:30 p.m. at Town Hall Theatre.

Earlier in the day, the Uptown Improv Workshop led by the cast of TBD: The Improvised Musical will be offered. The $40, two-hour introductory workshop runs from 3:00–5:00 p.m. on February 14 at Town Hall Theatre and is open to ages 14 and up. Designed for beginners, the workshop introduces participants to the basics of improvisation through fun, low-pressure games that emphasize listening, teamwork, creativity and responding in the moment. No prior theatre or improv experience is required, and activities encourage confidence and participation without pressure to perform or be funny.

The workshop is limited to 20 participants and requires a minimum of 8 registered participants to be held. Registration and payment are required at the time of registration. Workshop registration includes one ticket to the evening show Uptown Improv featuring "TBD: The Improvided Musical!" performance, giving participants an opportunity to see the skills they learned used live on stage.

Registration for the workshop is required and must be completed by February 6.
