The Axe Jazz Club at The Axe and Compass
THE AXE JAZZ CLUB

An exciting night of jazz comes to Ringstead!

The Axe Jazz Club is a brand new live jazz event featuring musicians from Midlands favourites, The Fourmasons. This new monthly session will celebrate all eras of great jazz music, including tunes by Charlie Parker, Duke Ellington, Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Herbie Hancock, Tom Jobim and many more!

Jazz standards, ballads and all of your Latin American favourites. There will even be floor spots for local musicians to guest with the band! If you are a jazz musician and would like to sit in, please drop us a line prior to discuss tunes and keys.

Join Peter Houtman (keys), Fino Lopes (bass) and Lee Allatson (drums) plus a host of featured guests each month.

The Axe Jazz Club is (almost!) every last Saturday of the month from 8.30pm at The Axe & Compass, 14 Carlow Road, Ringstead. NN14 4DW. Admission is FREE!

2025: July 26th, August 30th, (September - no event), October 25th and November 29th.
