THE RED BASTARDS
The Red Bastards are a no nonsense punk rock band from Mid Wales, formed in the midst of a pandemic and writing songs on subjects most wouldn’t dare.
Taking influences from bands such as The Misfits and Black Flag. The Red Bastards are Niff, Cynrig, Matt and Harold.
Lead singer Niffer has a history with several local bands. Harold and Matt are the backbone of the band on drums and bass respectively, and Cynrig completes the line up on guitar and backing vocals.
The band’s name is inspired by an infamous bunch of
Highwaymen who used to terrorize the local area.
The Red Bastards’ eponymous debut album is available now, and features fan favourites Jimmy the Beast and And The Band Played On.

FAMILY OF NOISE
Originally formed in 1993 in the Rose of The Shires, they nicked outside after a gig in late 1995 and got a bit lost until they found the stage door again in 2013.
Drawing influence from such fine exponents of the late '70s and early '80s post-punk stables: Bauhaus, Killing Joke, The Cure, New Model Army, and Siouxsie and the Banshees to name but a few, they have been channeling their collective inspiration into our very own sonic slabs of post-punk soundscapes, and instrumental noise nuggets, delivering them up and down the country from the confines of local haunts to festivals and pub back rooms afar.
Now in their third incarnation and slimmed down to a duo, there's still most certainly, plenty of noise to be made...
