To celebrate 50 years of the Lake District Calvert Trust, we’re holding a golden anniversary Open Day!
Locals, guests, visitors and supporters are invited to our unique site at Little Crosthwaite to explore the Calvert Lakes activity centre and talk to the team.
With a range of activities to try too, this promises to be a fun-filled day out for the whole family.
Our site is fully accessible and people of all ages and abilities are welcome.
Activities available include:

💚Swimming
💚High ropes
💚Climbing
💚Orienteering
💚Meet the ponies
Refreshments will be available in our dining hall and there will be crafting activities for younger children.
This is a free event but please book your free tickets in advance where possible. Donations welcomed on the day.
Parking onsite will be very limited so where possible, attendees are encouraged to use public transport, the X4 and 555 buses stop near by, car share or to park in Dodd Wood Car Park (parking charges apply).
Please note - this is a dog-free event.
