Buckstones Jum and Waterfalls

Our Buckstones Jum & Waterfalls swim is a journey to the heart of wild swimming in the Lake District. It typifies the secret little out of the way places that locals were swimming in for years. Before the word got out and wild swimming went boom. Our trip takes the steep but beautiful walk up the Rydal Beck valley to the pools and waterfalls therein.

Like many of our short guided swims, the pace is relaxed and inclusive. The swimming is easy, but is in often in deep, steep sided pools, so you must be a confident swimmer. When we are all beginning to shiver and it’s time to get changed, we’ll get the kettle on and have a nice brew. This is a morning out in true Swim the Lakes style. We’re sure you will enjoy every moment.
