Whether it’s one-on-one, in a group, or when speaking in front of a crowd, speaking up can be nerve-wracking!
Ever had something to say, but didn’t know how — or didn’t feel confident enough — to say it?
Aged 12–25? Join us for a free, fun and creative workshop where your ideas come to life!
Build confidence | Get inspired | Turn your voice into action
Everyone’s welcome – bring your energy, bring your voice!
We’ll be joined by David Wise — a dynamic MC, trainer, and teacher — known for making people feel at ease. With his support, we’ll dive into hands-on activities, open conversations, and expert strategies to help you:
• Understand why speaking up can feel scary — and how to do it anyway
• Learn a simple model for clear, action-driven communication
• Practice impromptu speaking using helpful mini-structures
• Explore the power of voice, gestures, and delivery
• Build confidence in a safe space where we listen, share, and learn together
We have space for just 8–12 participants, so get in quick!
As a follow-up opportunity, participants will be invited to share their voices — either individually or as a group — at the upcoming Child Protection Week Dinner, to be held at The Waves Sports Club on September 12. Dinner will be sponsored for all workshop participants. Parents who wish to attend can purchase tickets separately.
The Child Protection Week Committee is excited to welcome you to this empowering event.
