Working people built our nation. Working people, enslaved and free, immigrant and American-born, fought for freedom, for the right to unionize, for living wages and decent working conditions. Working people struggled to win health care and secure housing and safe communities for all.
Today the Trump regime and his billionaire cronies undermine the gains that we working people have made.
On September 1, we the people will come together to say no to the destruction of our lives. We will stand in solidarity with all working people to fight for a better nation for everyone.
We demand an end to the attacks against labor unions.
We demand an end to the attacks against Medicaid, Medicare, Social Security, and all programs that serve working people.
We demand fully funded schools and affordable healthcare and housing for all.
We demand an end to attacks against workers, against immigrants, against people of color, against women, against LGBTQ people, against all the oppressed.
We demand investment in ordinary people, not in wars and not in welfare for billionaires.
