About the event

"The Art of Seeing: Reflections on Art through Poetry" Opening Reception

The School of Art Collection and Galleries at Kent State University are excited to exhibit "The Art of Seeing: Reflections on Art through Poetry," a collaboration between the School of Art Collection and Galleries and the Wick Poetry Center in the CVA Gallery, Aug. 26 - Oct. 8, 2025, with a reception on Aug. 29, 5-7 p.m. This exhibit features over twenty artworks from the School of Art Collection and ekphrastic poems by members of the Kent community written in response to those selected works.
