In the year 2000, rock 'n roll band Linkin Park predicted that we were "one step closer to The Edge." At the time, no one knew exactly what that meant, and the band refused to explain themselves. Twenty-five years later, their prophecy comes true; Magic is going beyond the Multiverse, to "The Edge" where fantasy meets science and war wages.
That means it is Prerelease time!
You can join us at Dice City Games all weekend long, July 25, 26, & 27, for the newest in-universe set: Edge of Eternities.
Prereleases are the perfect time to play with a new set while it is still fresh off the presses, to get your hands on new and powerful cards, and to try your hand at competitive Magic in a casual environment filled with friendly faces. These events are "Sealed" format - no cards or decks required beforehand; you are provided with a Prerelease Kit (6 "Play" Booster Packs and a Promo Rare) and you build your deck from scratch. Unsure about what to do? No problem, DCG staff is here to lend a helping hand if you get stuck!
WHEN IS IT?
We have a full roster of Sealed Prerelease events, kicking off early Friday afternoon and wrapping up with a (now doubled-up!) special Two-Headed Giant Prerelease as the second Sunday offering. This gives us a total of 6 event times to choose from:
[7.25] Friday @ 3:00PM -> followed by a second event @ 7:00PM
[7.26] Saturday @ 12:00PM -> followed by a special TWO-HEADED GIANT* sealed @ 4:30PM
[7.27] Sunday @ 12:00PM -> followed by a special TWO-HEADED GIANT* sealed @ 4:30PM

Your entry ticket for any event time is just $40 - PLUS, if you play any more events with us this weekend, beyond your first, you'll save $5 on each additional event ($35)! This gets you not only your Prerelease Kit to build from, but also access to awesome prizes.
WHERE IS IT?
Dice City Games is located in Silver Spring/Wheaton, Maryland. We're just a short trip from the nation's capital and conveniently just a few blocks away from the Wheaton Metro Station on the Red Line.
We have ample parking available in several key locations; enjoy free parking in the lots both in front and behind our store, and inexpensive metered parking adjacent to us on Grandview Avenue, parallel to Georgia Ave. You can also find free parking in several of the branching residential streets off of Grandview Avenue, just a block or two's quick walk from our doors.

WHAT CAN I WIN?
We love to give out prizes, and a Prerelease is the perfect chance for us to give out oodles of new Play Booster Packs as prizes to our participants. Booster Pack prizes of Edge of Eternities will be given out as one for each round win, plus a bonus pack if you go undefeated after three rounds!
WHAT CAN I BUY?
It's all available for pick up on July 25th! Yes, even that thing! And that other thing! Wizards of the Coast now allows stores like us to sell virtually every new Edge of Eternities product during Prerelease Weekend. We'll have Play Booster Boxes, Collectors Boxes, Bundles, and Commander decks available for purchase on demand. We'll also be buying and selling singles throughout the weekend.
