After completing this two-hour training, potential candidates and campaign volunteers will know and be able to implement the basic steps of running a local and state-level political campaign, as well as what actions a potential candidate can legally take before filing.
Attendees will be able to:
-Evaluate their readiness to run for office or volunteer for a campaign
-Identify filing deadlines and be ready to implement the filing requirements
-Research the current political landscape for the public office sought
-Identify a support system for a potential campaign
-Create a plan for next steps, should the attendee decide to run for office or volunteer on a campaign
