Kenosha's art scene is vibrant, diverse, and deeply rooted in community, with creativity spilling from galleries into parks, streets, and breweries. There are murals everywhere, sculpture walks, outdoor art installations, museums, art markets, theaters, music venues, tattoo shops, and much more. Kenosha’s art scene is inclusive, accessible, collaborative, ever-changing, and fresh – all things to be celebrated.
Crafting beer is both an art form and a science. Brewers meticulously balance ingredients—malt, hops, yeast, and water—to create distinct flavor profiles. Every small adjustment can shift the taste, aroma, and texture. When a brewery truly values its craft, every pint becomes a reflection of passion, process, and purpose. Blending craft beer with Kenosha’s local art scene is our way of supporting creatives and sparking connections and conversations with a diverse group of artists and the community.
Join us for 𝐏𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐫𝐭, a free-to-attend, ongoing series of art shows at Public Brewing Company designed to spotlight the incredible talent of local artists, makers, and creatives in our community. Expect live art displays for sale, “meet the artist” moments, and a full array of food & beverage from yours truly.
We will feature a rotating lineup of artists, painters, photographers, illustrators, and more, bringing their unique styles, stories, and work to our taproom for all to enjoy. Whether you're an art lover, a collector, or just looking to support local talent, this is your chance to connect with Kenosha’s creative scene in a relaxed, welcoming space. No tickets required, stop by, grab a drink, and explore what Kenosha’s local art scene has to offer.
𝐀𝐁𝐎𝐔𝐓 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐈𝐒𝐓: Mitch Braver (@mitchbravertattoo): With over 10 years of tattooing experience, Mitch has resided for the last 7 of those years at Tallulah Tattoo, a private studio in Downtown Kenosha. Mitch is well-known in the neighborhood as a proud ally of the creative scene and can be found supporting businesses and initiatives that lift up the local community. Growing up in Kenosha, Mitch was drawn to the esoteric symbols in Masonic Halls and gritty venues around the Midwest, finding a similar pull in traditional tattoo flash. Just as he observed with Masonic prints, he often embeds fragments of dreams and hidden meanings into tattoo designs or paintings.
𝐀𝐁𝐎𝐔𝐓 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐀𝐑𝐓: Mitch says, “This show is a love letter to Kenosha. It’s for every artist in the Midwest trying to carve out something beautiful.” Mitch will feature a variety of pieces that span different mediums and points in his life – from tattoo flash, torn paper, to cyanotypes made from old stencils. All of his pieces are emotional blueprints of the dedication from the people in his life who have contributed to his success. He will also have copies of his book, 𝑶𝒍𝒅 𝑯𝒂𝒃𝒊𝒕𝒔 𝑫𝒆𝒂𝒅 𝑹𝒂𝒃𝒃𝒊𝒕𝒔, for sale during the show.
