Irish Coffee was made to warm up travelers, and now it’s the perfect excuse to hang out with friends—old and new. It’s all about good times and sharing a laugh.
The Story Behind It
Quick fact: Irish Coffee was invented in 1943 at Shannon Airport in Limerick, Ireland, thanks to a chef named Joe Sheridan. He added whiskey to coffee for some chilly passengers and topped it with cream. In 1952, it became a hit across the Atlantic as well, at The Buena Vista in San Francisco.
