Feast of St. James the Apostle & St. Christopher Blessing of Cars

The church commemorates the Feast of St. James the Apostle on July 25. Join us for this patronal feast day with a sung Mass at Noon on Friday, July 25, at St. James the Apostle Church, 5804 Sheridan Road. Following the Mass, the traditional St. Christopher Blessing of Cars will take place in the main parking lot.

Our feast day will be celebrated as a solemnity due to its status as the parish’s titular feast, as noted in the General Norms for the Liturgical Year, which elevates such feasts to solemnities in their respective churches with liturgical elements like the Gloria and Creed.

Please note that there will be no Noon Mass at St. Elizabeth on this day.
