Wispy is turning 17! 🐱🐾
Our sweet senior girl Wispy’s 17th birthday is July 31st, and we’re throwing her a birthday party to celebrate this amazing milestone!
When: Saturday, August 2nd 12 PM – 2 PM
Where: 725 Railway Street

Wispy came to the shelter as a tiny kitten in 2008. Since then, she has had 3 adopted homes, and 1 foster home. Through no fault of her own, none of those homes worked out for her. Wispy is now on home #6 at the new shelter building. She has officially retired at the shelter and is our official “shelter manager”. We are so lucky to have her company and she loves all the attention she receives at the shelter.
Come visit with Wispy, enjoy a cupcake, meet our other adorable shelter cats, and help support her ongoing care. It’s still a full open house — everyone’s welcome!
Wispy’s medical care is extensive and ongoing, and donations toward her vet bills are always appreciated.
She receives:
- Regular bloodwork & urinalysis
- Monthly Solensia injections + weekly Cartrophen for arthritis
- Monthly Vitamin B12 injections
- Daily arthritis medication
- Routine checkups & weigh-ins
