Welcome to SHG's North End weekly parkday group! We meet every Wednesday during the school year, rain or shine, at St. Edward State Park. The play is unstructured and child-led, and often includes large field games like capture the flag or freeze tag, or smaller groups adventuring around the large playground together. All homeschool ages are welcome, and our current age ranges are usually 5 to 16.
Because it is a state park, the parking lot requires a yearly Discover Pass, or a day pass. Annual passes will be increasing from $30 to $45 on October 1st. We want park day to be accessible for all homeschoolers, so if parking costs is a barrier, please contact Christine Jones for options.
