"Working Birds: Decoys and Their Carvers" Temporary Exhibit Opening

Visit the Tobacco Farm Life Museum for the opening of a new traveling exhibit on display in the gallery! " Working Birds: Decoys and Their Carvers" explores the craft of decoy carving in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. This exhibit comes from our friends at the Museum of the Albemarle in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. A variety of duck decoys from the Tobacco Farm Life Museum's collections will be on display for the duration of the exhibit.

Join us to explore the exhibit panels, color your own paper decoy, and search for camouflaged ducks in the gallery!

Located in the main gallery space, this exhibit runs from Saturday, September 6th until Saturday, November 29th. There is no admission fee to view the exhibit.
