Lakes MBO MTB Orienteering - Event 7 Staveley

Welcome to LakesMBO. This is the fifth series of 7 MBO Score events run by Lakes MBO in the Cumbria and North Lancs region. The series is run as a league with your best five scores counting and prizes being awarded at the final event. The ideas is to score points by visiting as many checkpoints as possible in the time limit using an OS map. Events are normally 3 or 4 hours in duration and will take you to some areas you will not have discovered as well as some of the best MBO terrain on offer. All events will be using the electronic SI Timing system.

If you have never tried a BMBO MBO Score event before we are offering first time riders a free entry this year. Simply join BMBO free as a day rider and claim the first time rider discount when entering your first event.

Entries held at last year's prices. A BMBO member entering early and having their own SI dibber pays less than a tenner.

This event will take place in the home of many popular Lakeland routes. Some will be familiar to you but you can be sure that the planner will have found a few surprises for you. With fast tracks and rocky bridleways careful map reading will be needed to find the optimum route direction.
