Carvin Goldstone - My New Debit Order

Durban's most loved stand-up comedian Carvin H Goldstone is back on stage in Johannesburg at the Theatre of Marcellus, Emperors Palace with his new one man show titled "My New Debit Order".


After going through a very difficult period of in vitro fertilisation or IVF to have his third child with his wife they welcomed a baby girl but the journey and cost of having a baby made for a lot of pain and the pain made for a lot of comedy which Carvin unpacks in his new show.



After hitting the stage for the first time in a comedy competition in 2006 as an unknown, Carvin set on a journey to become a South African comedian.

No one could predict how high Carvin would rise, becoming an internationally touring comedian, receiving the highest accolade in South African comedy after being named South African Comedian Of The Year in 2018 and winning the Best South African Comedy Show in 2020. Including 2023, Carvin has been nominated four times for SA Comedy's top honour.

"My New Debit Order" performance explores the hilarities of welcoming a new baby in your 40s, which he calls his new debit order; childbirth; raising a teenager and new presidents in South Africa and the US.
