Terrarium Workshop

We’re delighted to be hosting a terrarium building class with Ben Newell from Worcester Terrariums.

Ben is one of the top creators in the field of terrarium building and has become well-known for his online videos that have amassed hundreds of millions of views! He has an audience of over 1.9 million followers and is the proud owner of an RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2022 gold medal.

So, what’s a terrarium? A terrarium is a sealed clear container that contains plants. The humidity inside the terrarium creates an atmosphere that enables you to grow a wide range of plants and mosses. Water evaporates from the soil and transpires from the leaves, hits the top of the container and falls back down keeping the plants watered. It essentially becomes its own ecosystem!


What can you expect from the day?
All plants and materials you’ll need will be provided and you’ll take home your very own terrarium!
