The Macleay Laneway Festival is back and ready to take over the heart of Kempsey!

After being postponed due to wet weather, the much-loved Laneway Festival will now be held on Saturday 27 September 2025.

Get set for an unforgettable day as the Kempsey CBD transforms into a vibrant hub of entertainment and activity. There’ll be something for everyone from live music and street performers to youth-led market stalls, a chill-out zone and top-notch food trucks serving up delicious bites.

Live music will set the mood with a soundtrack to keep you moving all day long.

For those looking for a more interactive experience, dive into the virtual reality and Xbox zone, or enjoy the buzz from roaming street performers and surprise pop-ups throughout the day.
