"Couple" or "Not" Picnic Out - June 2025

Welcome to the "Couple" or "Not" Picnic Out!

Get ready for a great evening with your significant other, a friend or by yourself at a picnic event. Join us on Monday, June 30th at 6:00 PM on the shores of Okanagan Lake at Sutherland Park for an evening of conversation, and meeting new people.

Bring your own blanket, and your picnic basket filled with your favourite meal and drinks. Don't forget to pack some sunscreen and sunglasses to enjoy the sunny weather, the area we will sit in is in the shade and there is a gentle breeze that comes in off the lake.

Let's circle up for some wonderful chats! Couples, singles, everyone's invited to get to know some new friends. Get ready to mix, mingle, and make community for everyone!

Come and make some new friends, enjoy the company of your Kelowna neighbours, or simply relax and soak up the community vibes. Let's make this picnic outing a time to remember!

The majority of the attendees will be 50+, this is a public city park that has city restrooms and there is street parking along Ellis Street.

Please remember to keep any glass containers or bottles in your picnic basket as the city frowns on glass items within the park.

If the weather is inclement, the event will be postponed.
