Danny was one of us, one of our family, our brotherhood at Switch Hitters. He was one of the original lads and one of our very first members, he was a Switch Hitter before Switch Hitters was even a thing! A true OG and someone that everyone in the gym absolutely loved. He had time for absolutely everyone, he supported us all at every event physically possible and was always there to help lads through their own camps, struggles and life, no matter what he had going on. He gave his all for us, now it's our turn to do the same for him ♥️
On Sunday 10th August, down at Switch Hitters (Keighley business centre, South Street, Keighley, BD21 1AG) we're hosting a fundraising day to help raise funds for Danny's family. I myself will be aiming to train and spar for 12 hours, 9am to 9pm, absolutely anyone can come and have some fun playful rounds with me, take me on pads, boss me around on a bag, you name it! While this is going on, we will have lads completing a marathon by running 26 laps around ingrow, so people can join in a mile at a time, we have raffles, an auction for sporting memorabilia and other items, bouncy castles, inflatable assault course, food and baked goods for sale too, a tattooist doing memorial tattoos, face painting plus so much more! We also have a live DJ performing and hopefully some drinks and other refreshments will be available. We also hope to have some fun challenges available to take part in too with all money raised going towards Danny's family and prizes for the winners.
This is going to be an absolutely huge day for us all and we would absolutely love everyone to get involved where possible to help raise as much money as physically possible.
Danny was our brother, our team mate and our friend, we need to do this for him and his family, please please help, any contributions are greatly appreciated no matter that amount 🙏
